I have always been interested in science, medicine, and technology and how these fields overlap. I am fascinated by the human brain and the neurological processes behind thoughts and perceptions. Click here to read about my latest research.

Cum Laude Society

On September 23rd, 2021, I received the national honor of being inducted in the Cum Laude Society for being among the top 8 students in my graduating class.

TEDx Talk

Linked to the left is my TEDx Vision Z speech in which I discuss how current and future generations must stay updated with emerging technologies and how in order to make a difference and to achieve our goals, we must be aware of the futuristic wave that is coming.

Meeting With Dr. Li Qian


I had the honor of meeting with Dr. Li Qian, a leading researcher in the field of heart regeneration at UNC, Chapel Hill.  It was an incredible experience to see her lab and team as they worked and I was also able to ask her several questions about her fascinating research.  Dr. Qian and her team exposed fibroblasts to an engineered retrovirus that enters the cells and starts producing three key "transcription factor" proteins, which effectively reprogram gene expression in the cells, causing the cells to turn into cardiomyocytes within a few days!
